Key aspects of the role:

• Partner with business leadership to provide functional expertise in events/experiences

• Participate in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy with the right events and experiences

• Collaborate daily with leadership, product marketing, PR, sales, demand gen and beyond to deliver memorable experiences to tell the company story, amplify our messaging, and drive pipeline

Job Description

What You Will Do

Develop the event and experience strategy for GE Digital and third-party industry events inclusive of audience strategy and acquisition, message develpment, content strategy and execution, amplification, etc.

Navigate and own all end-to-end operations for events & activations working closely with internal cross-functional teams such as Partnerships, Marketing, Sales, , Legal/Compliance, Analyst Relations, IT, as well as external partners and agencies.

Own budgets and timeline (including event logistics, financial management, fabrication / graphic / production timelines, vendor timelines, creative deliverables)

Manage relationships (internal and external) as the primary point of contact through the GE Digital event lens

Manage vendor activity and relationships (ensuring effective communications, quotes, selection, setup, POs / deposits, addressing minor issues, etc.)

Provide onsite support for events

Ensure closing / reconciliation process completed

Able to see beyond a given task and advise on cause and effect of decisions and options depending on situation

Oversee effective, efficient execution of timeline and budget across all workstreams

Present milestones and updates for core execution team and executive updates on a regular basis.

Work with revenue generation and analytics team to summarize results, key learnings and business impact(s) of events and activations

Qualifications / Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.

8 years of professional experience in events

What You Have

Experienced events leader with a strong background working across B2B technology teams including agencies, marketing, product, sales, communications, and legal/finance.

A proven track record of defining and delivering successful events, end-to-end.

Highly motivated, extremely organized individual with experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders across the globe.

Utilize your attention to detail, your experience in program and project management, and your excellent written communication skills to ensure high quality results

Excellence in project management to ensure all milestones are achieved on time and on budget before, during and after the event.

Skilled influencer, able to communicate complex messages to others.
