Associate Attorney - Estates & Business Planning

The candidate should have 1-3 years of professional legal experience concentrated in estate planning, estate administration, business planning, and relevant tax knowledge and experience. Should preferably be familiar with Microsoft Office software, computer-based case management software, Westlaw legal research, and public legal research options like the South Dakota Legislative Research Council, the Unified Judicial System, and the LII / Legal Information Institute. Caseload will include primarily creation of estate plans utilizing wills and trusts, powers of attorney, and living wills, also probate and trust administration, guardianship matters, succession planning, and some estate specific litigation. Must have Licensed to practice law by the South Dakota Supreme Court.
