The Payments, Virtual Solutions, and Innovation (PVSI) team includes Operations, Consumer Credit Card, Retail Services, Consumer Deposits, the Innovation Group, Treasury Management, Merchant Services, Marketing and Wells Fargo Virtual Channels and the professional services teams that partner with these businesses. PVSI's focus is on delivering the next generation of payments and deposit capabilities and advancing our digital and online offerings to design new customer experiences and products. TThe Line of Business New Business Initiatives (NBI) Program Coordinator executes Line of Business level program management activities in support of the New Business Initiatives Risk Management Policy within the PVSI Control Governance New Business Initiatives (NBI) team, which is responsible for driving consistent processes for the inventory, risk assessment, review/approval, and monitoring of product launches, product modifications, business growth initiatives, post-implementation reviews, and product portfolio monitoring across all PVSI lines of business.

The coordinator works with the enterprise NBI Program Owner in Corporate Risk’s Strategic Enterprise Risk Programs team and his leaders to ensure accurate interpretation of the NBI Policy and associated procedures for the PVSI businesses and to provide feedback on behalf of PVSI to support continuous improvement of the program. The coordinator prepares and communicates information for program-related changes and requests to all members of the DPG Control, DPG Product Management, and N4-level leaders and N5-level team members in Risk-aligned Control teams. The coordinator facilitates Business Specific project scoping reviews, which also include Compliance leaders, PVSI Risk-aligned Control leaders as well as presenting business product managers and their associated PVSI Business-aligned Control representatives.

This critical role serves as the key conduit to cascade and explain NBI program directives to DPG Control teams and front line partners supporting PVSI information security and technology risk management as well as business product managers driving new business initiatives.

The primary responsibilities of this position are to provide NBI program assurance for two businesses within PVSI including:

• Educate PVSI Control teams and PVSI businesses on NBI procedures for appropriate due diligence, analysis, investigation and SME consultations

• Review and validate business NBI scoping and materiality evaluations

• Monitor business plans for timely completion of Product Change Assessments, Post-Implementation Reviews and Product Portfolio Monitoring. Drive timely and accurate updates

• Provide consultation to support Assessors and Contributors in documenting the RANBI Business Case, NBI Risk Assessments and end-to-end product process and control overviews

• Support businesses in preparation of materials for Control Executive and committee review and approval

• Facilitate business response to credible challenge

Location:

The preferred location for this position is Phoenix, AZ and Des Moines, IA. Other locations that may be considered are Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Minneapolis, MN; Portland, OR; Raleigh, NC; Richmond, VA; Salt Lake City, UT; San Antonio, TX; St. Louis, MO; and Wilmington, DE.

Required Qualifications:

10 years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 10 years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 5 years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both

A BS/BA degree or higher

Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities

Ability to interact with all levels of an organization

Ability to manage tactical or strategic initiatives

Ability to present complex concepts to senior management

Ability to present reports to and interact with senior leaders

Ability to produce high level summary analysis reports in a meaningful and-understandable format

Advanced Microsoft Office skills

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Knowledge and understanding of operational risk management or compliance methods

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Experience in policy implementation

Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
