The candidate will review, draft, negotiate, and execute a wide range of routine and mission-critical contracts, agreements, licenses, and other legal agreements that support and enable business operations. Will lead all required compliance audits. Address pertinent issues relevant to business and product initiatives including: Intellectual property protection, compliance and safety requirements, consumer privacy and data protection. Advise leadership and company on standard startup legal matters, including, but not limited to; Employment agreements, bilateral commercial agreements, privacy agreements, standard user terms and conditions, and cap-table related corporate legal matters. Anticipating unique legal issues and "blind spots" that could have a material impact on the company's compliance. Staying abreast of relevant legislative and regulatory developments. Negotiating business deals with major customers.
