Private Client Associate – Fiduciary Litigation Group
The candidate should have 5-10 years of experience, preferably in a law firm setting, handling a variety of fiduciary litigation matters, such as: guardianship & conservatorship, trust litigation, will contest, undue influence & financial exploitation matters, equity actions, family member disputes & family asset controversies, family business protection & controversies, issues impacted by mental incapacity, family mediation & interventions, mental health & addiction issues, trusteeships, fiduciary service as conservator and trustee, and special needs trust matters & issues impacting benefits and care. Excellent academic credentials, along with strong research, writing, and communication skills are needed. Familiarity with Probate & Family Court rules and practice, as well as Superior Court rules and practice, and working knowledge of, or a strong interest in learning, the Massachusetts Probate Code and Massachusetts Trust Code is needed. Current membership to the Massachusetts bar is needed.
