Legal Research and Project Specialist
Duties: Conducts thorough and timely legal and/or documentary research on matters of basic and medium complexity, drawing from multiple sources of information; ability to organize, distill, and summarize results of research and prepare appropriate presentations of research findings depending upon nature of research and presentation audience using reports, charts, diagrams, and/or other mediums as appropriate. Supports lawyers with legal, regulatory or process improvement projects by working closely with project leaders, assisting in project planning and project documentation, assuming responsibility for completion of key projects tasks as assigned, and preparing project presentations materials. Supports lawyers with committee responsibilities as required. Organizes and maintains paper and electronic documents and files. Responds to inquiries and provides updates to attorneys, internal departments, outside counsel, external agencies, opposing counsel, witnesses, and/or external customers as needed. Prepares routine and less complex legal documents, correspondence, and/or pleadings.
