Senior Data Analyst

The candidate will assist the Data Architects with business and data management implementations and be a part of a dynamic team dedicated to developing strategies for data acquisition and consistency across the Firm and for the clients. Analyze and understand key enterprise applications and leverage this knowledge to design the integration of data from multiple systems to meet the Firm’s business requirements. Define the optimal movement of data across multiple data systems. Define, implement, and provide ongoing maintenance for database and data modeling initiatives. Leverage optimization techniques. Develop user and technical documentation and enterprise-wide standards around data integration and data sharing for the databases, data models and systems. Provide general support for the Firm's ongoing conversions and upgrades to various desktop and network operating systems. Solve problems with the Firm's existing computer software systems as they arise. Create applications with access to sensitive and confidential data. Special projects and other duties as assigned. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or demonstration of equivalent aptitude and experience is required. Should have 8+ years of hands-on experience as a data analyst with Microsoft SQL Server. Should have 5+ years working on and/or supporting application development. Experience with Team Foundation Server and Visual Studio is required. Experience with Agile and iterative software development methodologies is required. Law Firm experience is a plus. Previous SQL programming and DBA expertise is strongly preferred. Knowledge of integrating content/document management solutions such as SharePoint, FileSite, etc. is required.
