The candidate will draft, review, edit, and negotiate a wide variety of corporate and transactional agreements. Coordinate with and seek feedback and input from subject matter experts across the firm to complete contract reviews and approvals. Provide support to senior attorneys in transactions such as M&A and secured financing. Identify legal risks and recommend and implement risk mitigation strategies. Support business initiatives and acquisitions. Perform special projects as assigned. Must have credentials from an ABA-approved law school, be actively licensed by the Texas State Bar, and have excellent writing skills. Must possess strong legal research, writing, and drafting skills; strong communication skills; Big law” experience – a plus; Foreign languages – a plus.
