JOB SUMMARY: \u00a0 Specialty Gas Equipment\u00a0Technical Support Representatives will be responsible for providing technical support and specialty gas equipment customer solutions for non-standard\u00a0items and standard catalogue\u00a0components. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: \u2022\u00a0Provides technical assistance in regard to all catalogue branded equipment supplied through the ASG Equipment Group. \u2022\u00a0Assists with technical assistance and support on non-standard specialty gas equipment applications. \u2022\u00a0Serves as back up the Customer Service Representative as required. \u2022\u00a0Provides high-level customer service and meets or exceeds customer expectations; \u2022\u00a0Responsible for customer quotes on standard catalogue and non-standard items. \u2022\u00a0Assists other service team members with inbound technical calls from customers for catalogue and non-standard items. \u2022\u00a0Up-sell product offerings where opportunities exist. \u2022\u00a0Provides technical\/administrative guidance and training to other service team members as needed. \u2022\u00a0Conducts research for non-standard parts and pieces with vendors and internal Airgas technical resources; refers mid to high-level non-catalogue items to the Engineer Technical Support or the Product Manager. \u2022\u00a0Maybe asked by management to be the Specialty Gas equipment representative to attend trade shows, professional conferences, and Regional business training or as otherwise requested. \u2022\u00a0Active participant in the Airgas Safety program policies and procedures. \u2022\u00a0Special projects may assigned as necessary. \u2022\u00a0Other job duties as may be assigned.
