Winston & Strawn’s Chicago office is looking or a practice attorney to join the litigation department. The ideal candidate will have strong case management skills and experience coordinating matters in Illinois State and Federal courts through all phases of litigation, including pleadings, motions, discovery, expert development, and trial. All candidates must be admitted to the Illinois State Bar. This position is not a partnership track position. Search firm submissions will not be accepted.

Qualifications include:

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school;

• Excellent academic credentials;

• Previous federal and state court experience preferred;

• Ability to manage a large case-load efficiently;

• Excellent legal research and writing skills;

• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment;

• Ability to provide excellent client service;

• Strong organizational and analytical skills;

• Strong oral advocacy skills.
