As a Data Warehouse Analyst I with Frost, you will be responsible for serving as the liaison between the business users and the Data Warehousing team in interpreting, analyzing and documenting user requirements and making recommendations to Data Warehouse technical staff pertaining to table, Data Mart and/or script/process design. Responsibilities will include interviewing business users to determine requirements for data, reports and analysis and then working with Data Warehouse technical staff to translate those requirements into technical specifications; assisting Business Intelligence staff with Data Warehouse data requests by writing ad-hoc scripts to provide data to end-users; and reviewing Data Warehouse scripts as requested and making recommendations for efficiency and accuracy. The candidate will research data anomalies and either repair or make recommendations for repair to Table Developers.
Required:
* 1 year experience with:
Eliciting, interpreting, documenting and implementing business data requirements
Data manipulation
Experience using and/or previous exposure to BI reporting tools (i.e. Cognos 8, Report Studio and Analysis Studio)
* Strong organizational skills
* Proficient in Microsoft computer applications
Preferred:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
* 2 years experience with Data Manipulation
