The Medicaid Clinical Strategy Lead delivers new clinical technological solutions to meet Medicaid business needs within a specified scope while aligned to enterprise objectives. The Medicaid Clinical Strategy Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

Responsibilities

The Medicaid Clinical Strategy Lead is a clinical subject matter expert responsible for developing, guiding, and documenting clinical business system and functional processes, influences system design to optimize support and ensures solutions meet the business objectives and requirements. Completes and/or coordinates implementation of design and requirements, ensures test scenarios are accurate and complete, reviews operational readiness, and transitions to the appropriate production support team. Advises executives to develop Medicaid clinical functional strategies. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding clinical processes and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision. Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience within the clinical business and/or clinical technology space

2 years of clinical process experience

2 years experience in Clinical business analysis, including artifacts development

2 years experience problem solving and consultation within complex environments

Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle, Waterfall, and Agile Development Methodologies

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree of Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field

Previous experience managing a technology roadmap and prioritizing requests

Previous Medicaid clinical and/or technical experience preferred

Experience with developing and managing business UAT test cases preferred

Possess a solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes

Six Sigma and / or Project Management Institute certification
