Senior Counsel, International Trade and Compliance

The candidate will provide legal leadership and establish, build and enhance processes for the global compliance function, including antitrust, antibribery, privacy and export controls. Advise all levels of the organization regarding legal matters involving trade (import and export) including with respect to legal developments and best practice policies & processes. Perform national and/or global compliance risk assessments. Lead investigations in compliance areas, partner with stakeholders on investigation plans, and serve as the central point of contact for stakeholders as investigations arise. Drive continuous process improvement and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to solve problems and develop solutions for developing compliance requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders on compliance policy and training efforts. Oversee external law firm experts and other resources to stay up to date on new and developing legislation and regulation or changes to current legislation and regulations and provide practical advice to implement legal requirements and mitigate risk. Provide commercial advice and lead legal initiatives. Be able to think creatively to address compliance issues in a way that supports the product team and overall business strategy. Role may provide legal advice regarding global data security and privacy requirements; manage Legal’s support of key aspects of our privacy compliance programs and processes to ensure we meet our obligations under those programs and applicable regulatory frameworks. Provide practical day-to-day and strategic advice to minimize legal risks while advancing business goals and initiatives. Actively participate in Environmental Social Governance (ESG) Program, providing leadership and best practice input. Provide regular reporting to Senior Leadership with the General Counsel.
