Description:

We are seeking a Senior Administrator to support the Faculty in its commitment to promoting and integrating equality and diversity in all aspects of its work. The post will sit within the Faculty administrative support team and will form part of a job share working closely with the Faculty Equality, Diversity and Inclusion lead, Heads of School, academic and Faculty professional service colleagues as well as colleagues in similar posts across the University and within the University’s Equality Unit. The focus of this role is to support Faculty EDI work including areas such as Athena Swan, the Race Equality Charter as well as supporting the integration of equality and diversity awareness into teaching, research and administrative activities across the Faculty. You will be liaising directly with academics leading equality and inclusion initiatives across the Faculty and beyond. The work will be a mix of research, communication and administration requiring a range of skills and experience to reflect this. You will need to have demonstrable experience of data collection and analysis, information retrieval, presentation and excellent communication skills, as well as appropriate administrative and organisational experience gained through working with a wide range of stakeholders.
