Part Time Legal Assistant II
The candidate provides clerical, data entry/retrieval and related support functions. Additional duties are that of a designated bailiff with jury trial and courtroom responsibilities including direct contact with jurors, litigants and attorneys. Research and prepare information/documents as needed for court proceedings and provide other clerical support functions as needed. Must have High school diploma or GED plus with up to 18 months additional education. Paralegal training and bilingual skills (English/Spanish) is preferred. Should have 1-2 years of experience in office setting. Legal experience is helpful. Accurate computer/keyboarding skills (prefer 65+ wpm) and good organizational skills is needed.
