Profile

Our client’s Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) is seeking experienced IT Project Managers to lead some of their key technology and business projects.
This is a subject matter expert in a project/program management role within an IT Project Management Office.
Manages or integrates multiple large-scale, highly complex and diverse IT projects of a strategic nature, or the more difficult portions of such projects, involving multiple platforms within IT (i.e., Software Development, Telecommunications, etc.).
Creates implementation plan and Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) documentation, and assists other less experienced Project Managers with their implementation plans and CBA’s.
Coordinates and oversees project resources, (i.e., various departments from other business areas, IT Managers, IT programmers, Quality Assurance Analysts, IT Business Systems Analysts, etc.).
Our client is open to candidates with either network infrastructure or applications development project experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
8 years project management experience in an enterprise-level PMO environment.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Comfortable interacting with all levels of management.
Leadership qualities that enable them to motivate the project team to achieve outstanding results.
A general understanding of various technologies and technical concepts that could include: application programming, database design, network infrastructure, web presence, etc.
PREFERRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification through the Project Management Institute.
“Big Four” consulting experience.
Experience in managing agile-based projects.
Knowledge of ITIL.
Insurance knowledge and experience.
This is a contract position (W-2 only)

We are unable to sponsor H1’s for this project.
Relocation benefits are not provided for this project.
No telecommuting option is offered for this position.
This project is scheduled to start ASAP and run for approx 12 months.
Candidates must be from within 3 hours of the Cleveland, OH Area (i.e. Detroit, Pittsburgh, Columbus, etc.).
