This is where you can belong.','!*!Be a part of our Videomed team that provides highly innovative video integration solutions for operating rooms and medical facilities.  Our vision is focused on new ways to improve the daily activity of surgical teams.  This role will be responsible for planning and coordinating all aspects of software product development projects from initiation to delivery and lead the technical development of software projects from concept through commercialization.  Projects often involve integrating new technologies into existing products.

As the Sr Project Manager/ Software Lead R&D Plan, you will coordinate all aspects of software product development projects from initiation to delivery and lead the technical development of software projects from concept through commercialization.  Projects often involve integrating new technologies into existing products.


Coordinates work performed by R&D staff and functional partners by defining project requirements and performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments. 

Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints. 

Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables with stakeholders.

Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.

Lead the software development team/process

Incorporates business, market, industry and competitive knowledge into technical solutions

Challenges project teams and established work processes and proactively finds creative methods to reach desired performance levels

Determines required tasks and completes on time with no supervision

Identifies and communicates potential risks with appropriate mitigations

Other duties may be assigned.


Strong oral and written communication skills required. 

Exceptional organizational skills required. 

Strong individual contributor who can work effectively on a team and be comfortable with change.

PMI Certification or Six-Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred. 

Ability to independently manage small-sized projects and participate in the management of larger projects. 

Microsoft project experience

Understanding of ISO 13485 and 21CFR820

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with C & Java (additional experience with GoLang, Kotlin, C#, VB.NET, or ReactJS a plus)

Proficient problem-solving skills


Bachelor’s Degree or local equivalent of same

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, 5 - 7 years of experience, preferred

Previous medical device software development experience

Experience in managing projects and using standard PMI tools

Experience with RTLS (Real Time Locating System)

4 years working in cross functional teams consisting of discipline specific engineers, or comparable experience

Previous project management experience
