General Mills is seeking a Foodservice Account Executive in the Seattle, WA area to:

Develop and Execute Strategies to exceed expectations for all key metrics
Volume: Exceed volume program through profitable sales
Sales calls: exceed call targets and report product sales results and customer insights
Distribution: Drive core and new item distribution through distributor partnerships and operator demand
New item volume: collaborate with region team and distributors to build and execute plans for generating new item demand and ensuring new time sales growth.
Partner with your manager and region team to drive market-wide success against objectives 
Leverage consultative Selling Approach to develop deep relationships with 3 distributors including a Top 5 volume Sysco division, 2 dairies, and 2 direct ship K-12 operators. Navigate and influence distributor partners, negotiating centralized and local trade funding to drive results. Work with distributor sales representatives to generate demand.
Build 6-month territory plans and execute at least 125 in-person sales calls to operators per half.
Utilize cross-functional selling tools and capabilities to drive strategy and expand reach.
Manage customer and industry events such as food shows and distributor sales meetings.


Bachelor\u2019s Degree
Minimum of 5 years of Foodservice sales or equivalent business-to-business sales experience required
Experience in management of foodservice distributors and/or distributor headquarters a plus
Ability to work in a home office environment and travel 40%
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Strategic business development
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Business management skills to deliver outstanding results
Ability to excel in a team environment
