Employee Relations, Labor Relations (ERLR) Manager
The candidate will lead the delivery of Employee Relations and Labor Relations Services for designated workforce group(s) within the offices. effective manage of Employee Relations matters (low performance, grievances, and discipline) and for the Employment law expertise in their perimeter. Manage Labor Relations in partnership with the Businesses (CBA administration and negotiation, employee representatives’ meetings, LR procedures, etc.). Provide overall Labor Relations support throughout the collective bargaining process. Drive proactive initiatives to increase ER/LR awareness with Managers & Employees and will support any ad hoc workforce events (M&A, Divestitures, etc.) requiring ER or LR involvement. Operate as a steward for the company, escalating matters of concern as necessary to ensure that the interest of the company is protected. Manage assigned cases to ensure appropriate resolution of service requests within defined periods, levels of accuracy and quality standards, and customer satisfaction levels. Lead a team that provides services promptly, treats the workforce respectfully, and maintains high levels of confidentiality, trust, and integrity in the handling of sensitive matters. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required. An advanced degree in a business field, Human Resources or Industrial Relations, or Law Degree is preferred. Should have 8+ years of HR experience with a concentration in Employee Relations and Labor Relations. Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems is required. Experience managing, planning, and implementing projects and strategic change initiatives is required. Knowledge of organizational design is required. Knowledge of third-party vendors’ management is required. Experience in industrial labor relations and direct management of complex negotiations and sensitive issues. Expertise in Employment and Labor Relations regulations & practices is required.
