This role involves overseeing paralegals and administrative assistants, appearing in court, conducting research, and providing legal counsel to clients.

Duties:

• Represent an existing client base and provide legal counsel.
• Collaborate closely with administrative staff and senior partners.
• Manage a diverse caseload and demonstrate strong research and writing skills.
• Oversee paralegals and administrative assistants, ensuring efficient time tracking, client billing, and project completion.
• Appear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions.
• Identify client conflicts and determine case strategies with resolution options.
• Analyze client needs and recommend appropriate courses of action.

Requirements:

• Active membership in the local Bar Association is preferred.
• Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Representation of clients for 2+ years is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office programs.
• Well-versed in legal research software, such as Westlaw or Lexis.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the local Bar Association (preferred).
