The Product Development organization within SharkNinja drives our global product roadmap from concept to shelf through the constant lens of the consumer. This role sits within our New Product Development team, which brings products from prototype to market. We are the “product CEOs” and partner cross-functionally with almost every other team within the company to drive high satisfaction for our end user and to drive business results. We are comprised of individuals from a variety of professional and educational backgrounds, from product marketing managers to consumer-focused engineers – but we all have one thing in common: we’re consistently striving to deliver a 5-star experience for every customer on every product we bring to market.

Here are some of the EXCITING things you’ll get to do:

Lead global product decisions on new products in develompent within the hair care category, including product cost, KPIs, and overall definition of product

Conduct user research to inform product decisions and evaluate product optimizations

Manage individuals leading their own programs within new product development

Manage the creation and execution of product support material, such as in-box collateral, on product POP, troubleshooting scripts, online how-to-videos and other digital content

Track technical product performance and issues, drive to closure through cross-functional action

Partner with cross-functional teams to execute key claims and obtain appropriate substantiation

Work closely with cross-functional teammates to convey the strategic vision and goals for the product line

Maximize the value of product line and align with cross-functional teams to ensure successful positioning in the marketplace

Support product lines through the growth, active, and end of life stages by providing cross-functional support to resolve product, quality, manufacturing and customer challenges

Work cross functionally to establish value engineering and cost down initiatives

ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS:

Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Industrial Design, Product Design, Business, or Marketing

5 years of experience in product development preferably at a consumer goods company

Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven, high impact environment

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of SharePoint a plus

Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills

Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented

Ability to be a team player as well as work independently
