Responsibilities: Provides support for and assists staff attorneys of the counseling section who provide legal advice and services to various client city/county agencies. Prepares written correspondence, communicating with client agencies or citizens, gathering and recording information, and performing other administrative duties including scheduling, file management, etc. Assists in other office-wide administrative duties as needed or assigned, including but not limited to staffing the office reception desk; greeting visitors, accepting deliveries, answering and forwarding telephone calls. Prepares Legal documents—includes drafting, serving and filing of pleadings, briefs, memoranda, correspondence and other legal documents, and includes research or information gathering related to the preparation, serving or filing of legal documents.
