Corporate Counsel
The candidate will support the organization in handling a broad range of insurance related transactions and issues, including compliance and associated filings with state insurance regulations and holding company acts, market conduct and financial exams, review and negotiation of complex contracts, and advice on the legal implications of proposed actions and policies. Experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and reinsurance transactions preferred. Must be a member of the California State Bar. Excellent academic credentials and top law firm and/or in-house experience are required. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex contract interpretations and applicability of relevant law, strong writing, presentation, organization, and project management skills required. Should have 4+ years of experience for corporate legal department.
