Aon has an opening for a Senior Finance Analyst - Business Planning team member! This role will be classified as Hybrid and will allow you to work from home and in the office on designated days. The person selected will either work in Fort Washington, PA, New York, or Chicago, IL. This role supports the CoverWallet Finance Leader, with focus on micro commercial segments internationally. Job Responsibilities: Forecasting & Budgeting responsibilities:Partner with multiple teams for financial inputs for forecasts and budgets, aligning operational and financial reportingPartner with local leaders by providing actionable insights and trends to help formulate strategies to drive improved financial resultsSupport monthly close and forecasting processes, coordination with Controllership and other groups for required journal adjustments.Design and maintain financial models for existing and proposed businesses, taking into account key drivers relevant to the segment.Identification and remediation of errors or misstatements. Uncover root causes and work to rectify via process improvement. Maintain reporting for staff headcount and expense, for forecast accuracy and recruiting pipeline needsDevelop standardized processes and segment level reporting to improve transparency and help drive improved financial resultsPartner with controllership team to ensure proper revenue recognition, deferred costs, cancellation reserve, and AR reserve calculations. Provide supporting documentation for reserve accounting entries and appropriately reflect impact within forecast and budget. Participate in accounting close process, act as liaison between controllership and accounting operations teams. Access information maintained in various financial systems and databases to analyze, prepare, and report on variance analysis.
