Our dedicated bookkeeping teams utilize our software to handle client's books by securely sending their data and automatically connecting it to their bank accounts, credit cards and third party integrations through the Spark app. Our services help clients ensure their financials are up to date, their payroll is delivered, their taxes are filed, and more importantly our clients are freed up to do more of what they love.
We're looking to add a talented (and awesome) team member in our fast-paced, fin-tech services team at KPMG Spark to help foster an amazing level of service for our customers. This position is considered to be a crucial, highly important role at KPMG Spark .
KPMG is currently seeking a Part Time Customer Lead for our KPMG Spark practice in Tax.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and review financial statements for our business clients on a monthly basis utilizing KPMG Spark's software
Work with KPMG Spark's human-in-the-loop machine learning technology to advance bookkeeping automation on client accounts; monitor and train machine learning by applying accounting principles in a quality review process
Work with team manager and members to address client concerns and other duties as needed
Assist as needed in the tax preparation process; input tax return information into the tax preparation software and work with managers and Tax Managing Directors to deliver a high-quality tax return to the client
Qualifications:
Must be pursuing by the start date or have completed the following degrees/majors in the past 12 months; Bachelor of Accountancy, Master of Accountancy, Master of Taxation or equivalent program from an accredited college or university; coursework in Accounting or experience in Financial Statement preparation preferred
Demonstrated quality service mindset; strong technical aptitude, critical thinking skills and ability to navigate MS Office applications (including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Excellent communication, time management and leadership skills; flexible and adaptable team player; and resourceful in delivering high quality work
Ability to travel and/or work on-site at client premises as needed, at times with relatively short notice
Ability to work a 20-30 hour/week schedule
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
