As a Functional Data Specialist – HR you will work on the HR Systems Team that among many things ensures data maintenance and management processes are in place and documented for HR, Payroll and Timekeeping systems. You will work as a member of the team that serves as subject matter experts and first line of support for day-to-day problem resolution. The Functional Data Specialist – HR role ensures consistent processing of transactions and data. In this role you will manage escalated issues or questions, partnering with the Functional Analyst and/or technology partners as needed. This role will understand where to find data and how it moves through the system(s), supporting the auditing and maintenance of the data for correctness. You will also provide standard and ad hoc reports as needed.
Under minimal supervision, this position is responsible for the functional process and data maintenance of the HR, Payroll, and/or Timekeeping system(s). Provides reports and analytics to support business functions. Establishes and maintains subject matter expertise in systems and processes. Provides customer service and support for low to medium complexity system issues and ensures resolution. Works closely with the cross functional business teams to ensure high quality people data and information management for the organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations. Brings compliance issues to the attention of management.
Assures high-quality customer service to all customers. Assists in managing the HR support email boxes. Responds timely to requests for customer assistance and transactional support.
Maintains good attendance and punctuality per the absence policy.
Manages the integrity of the data in the assigned HR, Payroll, and/or Timekeeping system(s). Trains (or coordinates training for) users on correct data input processes and confidentiality requirements. In partnership with leadership and technology partners, troubleshoots system errors and issues.
Coordinates and completes data input and auditing to ensure accurate employee and payroll electronic records. Ensures employee set up is accurate and complete. Follows up on data maintenance issues.
Assists with performing user testing activities to ensure quality results including maintenance of user testing plans, execution, and peer review of user testing. Conducts end user testing for systems upgrades, enhancements and interfaces between other systems.
Generates and maintains ad hoc reports, analytics, and dashboards to support the business as needed.
May assist with coordination of HR, Payroll, and/or Timekeeping system(s) workflow, training, and mentoring of staff, as required. Assists in developing training plans and documents. Delivers presentations, communicates relevant information to management and peers.
Assists functional HR teams with process and information management and workflows. Maintains procedure documentation for reference.
Participates in projects to support business needs. Interfaces with other project staff to ensure project completion (e.g., shares knowledge and best practices, ensures effective communication). Complies with and participates in change control processes through project completion.
Performs all other duties, at the discretion of management, as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
Knowledge of automated applications systems, system development life cycle, and project management principles required.
Knowledge of applicable business application(s) required.
Three years of experience supporting and managing HR, Payroll, and/or Timekeeping business applications experience required. To include:
•Experience with system implementations, upgrades, systems analysis, user testing, and production and process support.
•Experience using Kronos, UKG, ADP, or Oracle HR, Payroll and Timekeeping system products strongly preferred.
Must possess the skills and abilities to successfully perform all assigned duties and responsibilities.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality.

Salary Range: $50,211 - $65,291
