The candidate will save documents, extract information, input data entry received, and calendar hearing notices received from the Court. They also serve as a back up to reception and runner legal assistant positions. Gather data from various filings and input data into several databases. Save documents from various sources and extract information from these materials. Organize work tasks in a sequential and detail-oriented fashion to prevent missed deadlines, and catch spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors. Communicate clearly and effectively. Often information must be clarified with co-workers and people outside the office. Work both independently and part of the Data Clerk team to ensure all venues are appropriately managed in the absence of another member. Respond to rollover calls from the reception team and accurately direct calls to the appropriate departments and team members. Gather, sort, and deliver mail in the absence of our mail clerk. High School Diploma or GED degree is required.
