The Candidate will be responsible to analyzes and provides written analysis of statutes, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other legal sources. Organizes, and stores opinions and memoranda provided by outside council. Processes legal invoices from outside council. Acts as records custodian by primarily receiving and responding to Subpoena requests. Takes notes on discussions and meetings for later reference, with special attention to any action items and deadlines mentioned. Monitors Federal Communications Commission (FCC) orders, court decisions on telecom matters and industry trends and/or changes. Manages full-life cycle contracts processes including contract request management, review, assignment, execution/signature collection and record keeping. Review existing agreements to capture key data and contract clauses, identifying inconsistencies, and providing insight to discoveries. Oversees the administration of the contract lifecycle from inception to termination or expiration, and any subsequent post-contract obligations. Provides daily assistance with organization of tasks including maintaining priority tasks for contract life cycle. Assists with review and initial drafting of contracts. Ensure all relevant stakeholders are engaged in negotiations, development, execution, and fulfillment of all agreements. Creates and maintains legal department calendaring of tasks and contract renewals, creating notifications so key stakeholders and other personnel are made aware of upcoming deadlines. Works independently and efficiently while coordinating and communicating with supervisor throughout the process. Oversees organizational contract development and management activities and enforce organizational principles of integrity and compliance. Ensure that contracts and proposals are properly executed and entered into contract management organizational databases and collaborative tools. Provides contract risk analysis, risk mitigation, contract development, contract negotiation, and contract management. Works within the Uniform Commercial Code, Federal and State regulations, tariffs, ordinances, and guidelines.
