The candidate will act independently to analyze new state and local tax legislation, agency regulations, judicial decisions, and other official materials and pronouncements on state corporate and personal income taxes, sales and use taxes, franchise taxes, property taxes, and various other taxes. Will create original know-how content and update state and local tax resources. With limited guidance, use strong drafting and editing skills to write confidently and accurately about state tax to inform and guide customers. Report state tax developments on daily deadlines. Apply state tax knowledge to answer a variety of questions about our content and tax practice through the customer inquiry service. Write and edit content for thought leadership. Provide expertise and insight in a variety of business support functions including training AI to understand complex areas of tax and accounting specialties.
