Litigation & Compliance Paralegal
The candidate will provide legal support by preparing, reviewing, and revising documentation, Collect and present discovery and witness information., Help manage billing, invoicing, and fee negotiations for outside counsel. Support fraud and ethics hotline investigations. Coordinate and organize multiple short- and long-term projects through completion. Perform tasks and follow procedures for creating, maintaining, and organizing electronic files and database. Follow corporate policies and procedures and give instructions to ensure compliance. Prepare outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mail and fax. Associate's degree in paralegal studies and/or bachelor's degree (preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting, English, or Communications) are required. Knowledge of legal terms and general business practices are required. Highly organized with strong time/project management skills are required. Ability to produce acceptable amount of work efficiently and accurately; ability to produce quality final work product are required. Proficiency wiht Word, Excel, and internet research are required. Professional and accurate oral and written communication; strong writing skills required. 1 – 3 years of experience in Legal field are required. Paralegal certification are required.
