This is what truly matters to us.nJob Title:                                   Site Installation Project Manager 2  – Los Angeles, CAJob Location: Los Angeles, CARESPONSIBILITIES:• Attend presale meetings with AccountnExecutive s and support the sales relationship with customers as requiredn• Visit project sites to secure measurements, produce cost estimates, reviewnquotes and key project success factors such as electrical and constructionnrequirements with customers n• Consult with customers to optimize equipment layouts and clinical workflow tonincorporate into drawings and project plansn• Communicate customer specifications to planners to develop preliminary andnfinal drawings site specific CAD drawingsn• Communicate project information, status updates, schedule and scope changesnto internal and external stakeholders; i.e. customer, customer’s architect,nengineer, contractor, administration, Siemens Sales and Service partners, etc.n• Assist in development, coordination, and finalization of project schedulesnfor system production, delivery, installation and applications. n• Regularly Communicate project schedule, risks and other pertinent issues toninternal and external stakeholdersn• Perform regular site visits and monitor progress of site preparation tonensure that all tasks are being completed on schedule in order to meet assignednproject completion dates that impact Siemens profitability.n• Maintain accurate and appropriate data in the appropriate data systems andnProject Management toolsn• Coordinate and adjust schedules as necessary to minimize unexpected costnincreases, to maintain costs, and/or to improve overall profitability to Siemens—whilenmaintaining customer satisfactionn• Handle and respond to customer questions, complaints, and problems tonmaintain high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the projectn• Complete mandatory Siemens forms/checklists required at specific projectnmilestonesn• Conduct/assist in training of other Project Managers, participate in AdvisorynBoards, task force activities, special projects, etc.n• Follow Siemens and customer policies such as safety, regulatory, dressncodes/appearance and business conduct n• Follow all Siemens quality control protocols and escalation policies innproject communicationsn• Maintain optimum communication practices—respond to daily telephone, email,nand written messages in a timely mannern• Manage travel and office expenses to control costs. Maintain Siemens assetsn(telephones, cars, tools, etc) to ensure longevity and avoid breakdownsnnRequired Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience-       nBachelor’s degree or combination of education and experience-       nMinimum of 2-3 years Experiencenin handling complex / multiple projects simultaneously-       nExperience in dealing with executive-level management andnclinicians within a diverse customer organization.-       nMust have ability to read blueprint drawingsn-Extensive experience at successfully managing matrix project teams, thirdnparty vendors and working within a large corporate structure.Preferred Knowledge/Skills,nEducation, and Experience- CAD knowledgen- Knowledge of the construction industry (electrical, plumbing, structural,nHVAC). n- Experience project managing construction projects for medical facilitiesn- Familiarity with Siemens capital equipment medical devicesn-nPMP Certification desiredAt Siemens Healthineers, we valuenthose who dedicate their energy and passion to a greater cause.
