JOB OVERVIEW

The Talent Management team in Central Human Resources is seeking applications for an HR Coordinator. Reporting directly to the Manager of Talent and Performance, the HR Coordinator will review, analyze, and facilitate the implementation of various Talent Management methods.

This role will provide technical and administrative support for the University's Onboarding and Performance Management processes. A successful candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and a customer focused attitude. In addition, they will support the University's mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff, and all other activities.

 

This role provides the opportunity to have an impact not only in HR, but with talent across the university.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

*Will coordinate HR functions for an operating unit. *Work with Talent Acquisition on job postings,  recruitment, and selection process.  *Assist or coordinate payroll processing for organizational unit. *May act as Personnel Change Request (PCR) initiator for organizational unit. Analyze various HR data for quality improvement recommendations. *Assist with implementing policies to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. *Assist with project management functions. *May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.). *Perform related duties based on departmental need. REQUIRED EDUCATION

*Bachelor's Degree *Four (4) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS CONSIDERED

*Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business *1-2 year of Human Resource Experience *Experience running reports and analyzing data *Intermediate Excel Skills *Proficient with Microsoft products *SuccessFactors and SAP experience a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

*Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
