This position will be the IT Business Partner for Manufacturing Business Functions. Will ensure business partnering with Manufacturing Science and Technology (MS&T) and External Manufacturing (ExM). Additionally, they will drive Process Robustness, own IT Business Operations and Operational Excellence (OpEx) globally, and partner with IT functional teams also supporting manufacturing (e.g. Quality, Supply Chain, etc.). The position reports to the IT Business Partner for Global Manufacturing Operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Promotes a safe and compliant environment and mindset.
Engages and partners with MS&T and ExM business lead teams.
Influences and engages member of the Global Manufacturing Operations (GMO) IT leadership teams. Partners with Global Product and Supply (GPS) IT leadership teams as necessary.
People leadership responsibilities for a team of 7 IT professionals.
Plans and aligns core GMO digital capabilities, which includes:
partnering with MS&T and ExM to understand needs
integrating in-scope digital capabilities into overall site roadmaps
financially aligning investments for all in-scope digital assets
Application development and support of digital capabilities across GMO. These activities include:
establishing and leads appropriate governance to develop and deploy in-scope digital capabilities
developing and executing the process robustness support strategy for GMO. Must be in partnership with MS&T and sites
developing and executing operations planning (i.e. BioG tool) support strategy for GMO
partnering with enterprise business and IT information and analytics teams for alignment of service across sites
establishing appropriate communities of practice across sites for in-scope digital assets
Application and infrastructure process support of in-scope digital capabilities. These processes include:
global quality management systems (i.e. change control, deviation and risk management, etc.)
computer systems validation
infrastructure and system qualification
service management and integration (i.e. incident, problem, deviations, requests, etc.)
continuous improvement
Demonstrate matrix leadership of IT resources in other IT functions: responsible for ensuring that all IT functions are successful in their delivery of services to the Digital Plant teams. Key matrix IT partner functions include internal and strategic external partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
10 years experience Master’s Degree preferred
Demonstrated ability to lead the strategic planning and implementation of digital capabilities in multi-site global manufacturing network.
Demonstrated ability to communicate, influence and partner with senior business leaders.
Strong judgement, influence, and decision making skills
Strong knowledge of current good manufacturing/lab processes (GxP), particularly as relates to IT (21 CFR Part 11, Data Integrity, FDA Metrics, etc).
Implementation of large scale digital capabilities related to commercial manufacturing operations including process automation, manufacturing execution and lab systems.
Working knowledge of S88 and S95 standards in relation to process automation and manufacturing execution.
