The candidate will plan the lead for key U.S. federal and cross-border tax issues. Work closely with the Capital Markets team to evaluate and analyze tax impacts of complex financing transactions related to solar, wind, transmission, and energy storage projects in the U.S. and outside of the U.S. Review business transactions (including M&A) to identify tax implications and provide well-thought-out recommendations that account for Invenergy’s tax attributes. Manage relationships with outside tax advisors. Stay current with changes in the tax law and develop guidance. Analyze potential legislative changes and advise Government Affairs. Manage special projects.
