Inuit Services, Inc is seeking a part time General Clerk II - Ammunition Supply Point in Ft McCoy, WI.
Directly responsible to the ASP Supervisor. The General Clerk uses some subject-matter knowledge and judgment to complete assignments consisting of numerous steps varying in nature and sequence. Selects from alternative methods and refers problems not solvable by adapting or interpreting substantive guides, manuals, or procedures. Demonstrate proficiency in office procedures and perform administrative, clerical, and keyboarding duties. The clerk will follow prescribed procedures to complete repetitive clerical tasks. The clerk must also be able to recognize exceptional situations, respond with sound business solutions and follow clearly detailed procedures. This position requires initiative and the ability to work independently while performing daily office tasks such as filing, recording, maintaining records, copying, and other similar duties using a computer terminal, and other word processors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Inputting receipts, issues, expenditures and transfers of ammunition in the SAAS-MOD database, to include ammunition inventory, processing 3151 forms for issue, and ensuring all periodic inspections are documented in the system.
Responsible for coordinating with the ASP Supervisor and DOL Accountable Officer the wall to wall and monthly inventories of all ammunition assets, to ensure 100% accuracy and accountability.
Directly responsible to the ASP Supervisor for accepting E581’s through the TAMIS system and ensuring the units request does not exceed the unit’s authorizations.
Maintaining unit folders with requests, 1687’s, Assumption of Command orders and unit forecasts. Processing e581’s with the units during turn in procedures, to include filling out 581’s for turn in of live ammunition, residue, and unserviceable ammunition.
Responsible for interfacing with units requesting ammunition support through Fort McCoy, to include providing them electronic copies of the ASP external SOP, validating pick up times, and general customer service duties in direct support of the administrative office
Administrative functions of the office such as filing, word processing, supply ordering, and general administrative duties.
May assist in other areas with paperwork, issuing and possible forklift operating.

Job Requirements :
Required:
High School Diploma or GED.
Must have two (2) years experience in clerical duties and administrative support functions.
Experience with interpreting instructions, technical manuals and/or directives necessary for the accomplishment of job assignment.
Must meet citizenship requirements to work in the United States.
Obtain an interim clearance prior to starting.
Must have a valid driver's license with NO major infractions.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must have working knowledge of computers, typewriters, and other office equipment
Ability to write routine reports and business correspondence.
Ability to keyboard 45 wpm, operate a 10-key calculator; word processing and spreadsheet experience required.
Must communicate effectively with customers, fellow employees and government personnel.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
Must have working knowledge of calculators, preparing/filing of written documents.
Work harmoniously with other employees promoting teamwork and cooperation.
Ability to work in fast paced and compliance driven environment.
Ability to take initiative to ask questions and/or voice concerns in order to clarify task goals prior to completing work tasks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to follow directions.
Preferred:
Supply experience.

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. Walking and climbing may be required at work sites..

As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
