Associate General Counsel
Duties: Assisting with the management of corporate transactions, and company litigation (including complex commercial cases, class actions, EEOC cases, and workers' compensation claims), including overseeing outside counsel and devising successful litigation strategies. Very hands-on, including drafting and editing of work product. Partner with the General Counsel and internal business clients to both analyze legal/regulatory risk and develop practical options to mitigate such risk on a wide spectrum of issues. Provide guidance to clients regarding established corporate-wide compliance programs, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and other governmental requirements as appropriate. Communicate compliance standards to employees, physicians, business partners, and contract personnel.
