Patent Docketing Specialist
Duties: The candidate will be involved in docket patent dates and deadlines, keeping paralegals, attorneys and clients apprised of upcoming deadlines. Audit all incoming and outgoing patent matters (foreign and domestic) on a continual basis ensuring file integrity and docketing accuracy; includes checking for correct due date docketing, removal of complete items verified through the Patent Application Information Retrieval (“PAIR”) and entering missing or updated information as identified through PAIR. Troubleshoot errors and provide related training to prevent future issues. Coordinate new lateral partner portfolio intake process ensuring accurate entry of partner’s clients into the firm approved docketing system. Integrate with other members of the National Docketing Team to coordinate delivery of patent docket services to IP Patent Practice Group. Cultivate relationships between the National Docketing Team members and the attorneys, paralegals and staff we support firm wide. Monitor scanning of incoming patent matters. Be present at work during regularly scheduled working hours and as needed in the job position, consistent with the Firm's Remote Work Policy. Additional that may be assigned based on continual assessment of ability.
