Associate Legal Counsel
Duties: Advise on issues involving the organizations legal and regulatory compliance, with an emphasis on SEC and governance and disclosure matters. Assist in a diverse range of matters related to the day-to day operations of the company, including the negotiation and drafting of various contracts related to company’s business. Research and provide guidance on relevant legal and regulatory issues, and assist the organization to maintain compliance with statutes, regulations, and industry rules. Interface with management and various business groups to provide legal advice on a wide range of issues, such as corporate law, contracts, litigation, insurance, business development, and finance. Assist with preparation, review, and filing of SEC filings and related documents, including annual and quarterly reports on Forms 10-K and 10-Q, proxy statements, registration statements, and all other mandated filings. Manage outside counsel on various projects and matters. Provide support for special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
