OVERVIEW:
Madewell is looking for a passionate, highly motivated Brand Marketing professional with a strong public relations background to grow brand awareness through memorable campaigns and an effective media and influencer strategy. This individual will be tasked with crafting Madewell's quarterly awareness campaigns, driving consistency across all external communication touchpoints and supporting business objectives in an evolving retail landscape. They must excel in thoughtful storytelling, building meaningful media strategies and demonstrating impact on the business. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is constantly learning and adapting to rapidly changing customer and industry expectations.
This role will oversee brand awareness campaigns creation and execution as well as an ongoing communications strategy that drives significant business impact. They will work closely with a team of four associates and two agencies to develop and execute a strategy that supports business goals, brand initiatives an key product moments through a variety of tactics including but not limited to partnerships, experiential, media, influencer and celebrity. This candidate will present strategies to our executive team and will be asked to quantify all efforts.
We are seeking a strong leader who takes a collaborative approach and is comfortable bringing together stakeholders to define and execute strategies. They will be expected to work closely with cross-functional partners and lead a high-performing team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Execute a multi-faceted and effective awareness and communications strategy that achieves brand awareness, customer acquisition, and supports business growth *Translate business goals, brand strategy, and customer insights into compelling campaigns that drive awareness and brand love while garnering recognition in the industry *Own end-to-end campaign execution, including the development of marketing briefs that define campaign vision, success metrics, target audience, channel strategy and amplification tactics *Develop a brand messaging strategy that reinforces the Madewell ethos and positioning, drive consistency and clarity across all external touchpoints *Track the retail landscape, competitive environment, and consumer trends to ensure relevancy in all efforts, position the Madewell brand as a leader in denim *Build a multifaceted pr and influencer strategy that includes a variety of tactics including thought leadership, influencer, celebrity, experiential and partnerships *Collaborate with internal stakeholders across design, merchandising, creative and digital marketing to identify key initiatives and support go to market strategies for campaigns, key products and partnerships *Deliver comprehensive reporting that reflects all efforts, complete and present reports routinely to executive team *Oversee a team of four associates, two agencies *Oversee budget and expenses
QUALIFICATIONS:
*Master's or Bachelor's Degree *8-10 years of work experience *Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
