We are building a world class team at CMX with the goal to make a significant impact on the company's already rapid growth. We want to make sure we are both innovative and rigorous as we build out our Business intelligence team to lead CMX data strategy, reporting and self-service dashboards initiatives.

As the Digital Media Business Intelligence Manager, you have a strong digital and technology experience. You will oversee a growing team of data engineer, data visualization and data quality specialists and own the overall strategy of our operational and financial reporting. You will partner with marketing strategy, media activation, partner management as well as CVS IT data engineering and BI teams to define and achieve excellence in reporting assets accessible within and outside CVS environment. You will establish a working model between central and federated data resources. Collectively, your work will enable CMX to drive better business decisions and empower internal stakeholders and CPG partners to understand their business and customers in new ways.

The ideal candidate must have a deep knowledge in gathering business requirements, building ETL jobs and implementing dashboards within a retail media context. Experience within the digital media, e-commerce, retail or Consumer Packaged Goods is A MUST.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define and manage CMX long-term vision and portfolio of initiatives to improve campaigns ROI and CVS shopper experience through creating world-class metrics, visualizations, and data-driven storytelling

• Drive CMX Business Intelligence roadmap and lead the development of self-service measurement capabilities

• Collaborate and partner with Finance and Operations teams to understand, anticipate, and respond to current and future information needs (i.e. Finance dashboard, Pacing dashboard, Suppliers dashboard)

• Partner closely with leading publisher partners such as Google, Facebook, Pinterest and TTD to take advantage of new measurement features and learning opportunities

• Lead the definition and governance of key business metrics, and build frameworks and quality control mechanisms to ensure highest levels of data integrity

• Serve as the primary liaison between CMX and IT to identify and prioritize data sources, automation requirement gathering, data issue resolution, user acceptance testing, and dashboard creation/maintenance

• Manage a talented Business Intelligence team to achieve its goals and development potential

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant professional experience in business intelligence, data engineering, or related field

• 2 years of experience managing teams

• Excellent working knowledge of large data manipulation and data mining using complex SQL across digital media platforms (i.e. DV360, TTD, GAM, FB, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, CTV, YouTube)

• Excellent knowledge in Python, Databricks, Spark, GCP and Tableau

• Experience gathering and aligning business requirements across stakeholders in the digital world

• Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills. Must be able to explain technical concepts and analysis clearly to a diverse audience, including senior executives, and be able to translate business objectives into actionable analyses

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in database design, data modeling and ETL process within different Cloud environment platforms (ie. GCP, Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks)

• Experience in software development languages such as python

• Experience in designing and implementing custom reporting systems by managing or guiding technical teams with tools such as Tableau

• Experience conducting large scale data analysis to support business decision making

• Knowledge and experience in identity resolution and digital data connectivity platforms (i.e. Liveramp, Acxiom, Experian, Throttle)

• Understanding of the digital media landscape with a focus on retail media networks

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, statistics, applied mathematics or equivalent experience
