PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Other production or related tasks which may be required.

Perform DHR review.

Initiate work orders.

Provide feedback for annual performance appraisals for all Assemblers.

Monitor and ensure that adequate equipment is in place to perform the process efficiently and with highest quality.

Ensure Preventive Maintenance is performed and up to date on all applicable equipment.

Monitor production and test equipment to assure timely calibration.

Monitor and report on production status on daily basis.

Insure line clearance at the beginning and end of each new lot.

Manage CER supplies

Manage Controlled Room daily cleaning.

Segregate all non-conforming parts/products and accurately record on the reject tally sheet.

Control materials coming into production areas to assure traceability.

Train and manage production staff.

Supervise production process.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the Manufacturing Lead Assembler you will provide technical support in the prototyping, phase in and ramp up of new products from R&D. Support product line transfer to contract manufacturers. Assist Cost Savings initiatives through process improvement, labor and material savings or yield improvements. Provide hands on assembly medical devices. Support Engineers in tooling development and device testing.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for supervision of the production staff and for achieving Minerva’s production build plan. Has the authority to identify and record problems relating to product component design, device manufacture and recommend solutions.

AUTHORITIES:

Proficient in MS Word, Excel

Good interpersonal skills.

Developing supervisory and training skills.

Must have strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently and resolve issues.

Preferred Education and/or Job experience:

4 years assembly or related experience with emphasis on medical devices and Clean Room processes.

AS degree or equivalent
