Reference and Instructional Services Librarian
The candidate will provide instructional services for students, faculty, and staff of the Law School including teaching in the required first year Legal Research curriculum as part of a team. Design and teach advanced legal research courses and targeted instructional workshops for law school faculty. Proposing instructional solutions to keep pace with the changing educational needs of law students. Coordinate with Law Library and Law School administration to address student problems promptly and confidentially. Participate in and provide leadership and supervision in the provision of all reference services including research consultations for law students and faculty, creating and maintaining research guides, tutorials, and other tools to assist Law Library users with their research. Provide assistance to the legal community and public patrons in the law library. Maintain a visible presence in the Law School by attending events, educational workshops, and faculty meetings. Serve on both Law Library and Law School committees.
