Description

The HR Business Partner Lead leads the people management agenda in the Government Business unit/area, and acts as a facilitator for the company's management team. Applies broad experience in various Humana Resources (HR) areas of expertise. The HR Business Partner Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

Responsibilities

The HR Business Partner Lead acts as a single point of contact for the employees and managers in the Government business unit/area in people management agenda. Possesses a deep knowledge of the business unit / area, key employees and business processes. Builds a strong business relationship with the business unit/area and transfers HR requests and solutions to/from the business unit. Implements best practices and supports the delivery of HR processes at the business unit/area. Identifies gaps, proposes and implement changes necessary to cover risks. Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in the people management. Leads the change management projects and manages the HR related internal and external communication. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

The HRBPL will:

Develop and drive strategic vision around human capital for the leaders supported

Build a strong business relationship with the aligned organization

Act as a business partner; advise leadership on all human resources issues and initiatives impacting the organization's business goals and objectives including organizational design needs

Provide leadership to drive a high performance team-based culture

Partner with specialized areas including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, organizational effectiveness, learning and HR shared services to ensure specific needs of Marketing and Corporate Communications are being met

Implements best practices and supports the delivery of processes

Facilitate leadership development and key talent retention efforts

Develop and manage talent acquisition/ retention programs and work force planning initiatives

Identifies gaps, proposes and implement changes necessary to cover risks.

Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in the people management.

Leads the change management projects and manages related internal and external communication

Advises executives to develop functional strategies on matters of significance

Access and derive insights from Dashboard of talent analytics to inform talent strategies in the development of diverse leadership talent and technical capability across the business

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

Minimum of 5 years' of demonstrated progressive and strategic HR experience in multiple HR disciplines

Sound understanding of business principles, model, and concepts as well as subject matter expertise & knowledge of HR disciplines

Demonstrated experience supporting senior leaders consulting on business and human capital strategy

Organizational development and design experience

Strong business acumen

Demonstrated experience with Change Management

Demonstrated track record of effectively identifying and closing strategic human performance gaps to create a strong talent mindset and positive impact to business goals and objectives

Demonstrated relationship building with effective results

Demonstrated ability to work through ambiguous situations in a fast paced environment

For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated (preferred) or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home. Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree

TRICARE or Government contracting experience

Data analytics experience
