Financial Lines Underwriting Product Specialist - Senior or AVP
Duties: Leading the development and implementation of new policy forms, coverage enhancements and manuscript endorsements. Identifying market standard product opportunities based upon review of competitor forms and industry trends. Maintaining the forms library with relevant updates and modifications. Collaborate with Underwriters in responding to coverage requests and draft language for specific transactions and portfolio coverage enhancements. Works closely with distribution partners and/or risk managers to align on policy wording that addresses their unique exposure(s) in the policy. Supporting underwriting strategy and product development by incorporating lessons learned from competitor forms and approaches to coverage in new products. Participating in compliance-related queries, including state regulatory exams and state insurance department inquiries. Collaborate with various functional areas across the organization, including underwriting, claims, actuarial, legal, marketing, and regulatory compliance in creating products.
