Job Description:

The Portfolio Analytics team’s role is to provide management and commercial teams with accurate, transparent, objective, comprehensive information, to be used for critical decision-making in the areas of evaluation and strategy creation to optimally manage Natural Gas and Power desk performance.

Responsibilities

As a member of the team, the Portfolio Analyst shares accountability for developing models that provide valuable insights to management, trade desk members, and sales teams including:

Performance Analysis related to key functional area

Comprehensive exposure/risk reporting, displaying all risk exposures such as market prices volatility

Daily and cumulative P&L explanations for both trade desk and manager level

Build, maintain and run complex Excel trader portfolio spreadsheets

The Portfolio Analyst efforts focus on:

Building, testing, and trouble-shooting new models in Excel, Matlab or Python

Provide daily reports to trade desk and management related to P&L, exposure and P&L explanations

What we need from you

Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.BS in Management Information Systems, Math, Finance, Engineering, Accounting or any related degree is required.

Minimum 5 years of equivalent related industry experience

Experience in coding including sequel, Advanced Excel/VBA, and preferably Python and/or Matlab is a must.

Experience with building and running Trading models such as deal valuation systems and risk management tools

Delivering accurate, effective tools in a timely manner which are complex and highly specialized.

Managing high work volume and overlapping priorities.
