Role Summary:The warehouse operations & EHS lead will be responsible for daily operations and safety at the North America services and tooling fulfillment center. This includes on time shipments, coordinating safety responsibilities and audits as well as overseeing facility maintenance.

Essential Responsibilities:As the Warehouse Operations & EHS Lead, you will:

Lead warehouse employees and contractors to ensure 95% on time shipments

Develop and execute inventory management strategies, cycle counts, PI, put-away, Kanban etc. to achieve >99% inventory accuracy

Develops warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; developing, implementing, enforcing, and evaluating policies and procedures; developing processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping

Develops warehouse design by planning layout, product flow, and product handling systems; evaluating and recommending new equipment

Establish relevant performance KPIs and metrics to facilitate goal setting, operational excellence and employee accountability

Lead the site EHS activities for a safe work environment including performing audits, developing processes, and driving a safety and compliance culture

Develop standard work procedures and safety risk assessments to facilitate safe/quality completion of required work tasks

Identify and implement productivity opportunities in operations, logistics and warehouse footprint

Deploy lean methodology to simplify and improve operation, quality and drive 10% yoy cost productivity

Allocate and train resources to create a dynamic, capable team which responds to business needs quickly and with accountability

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations

Secures property by developing protection and access policies and procedures; coordinating patrols with security team

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 5 years of operations management experience

Desired Characteristics:

Expertise in enterprise resource planning system (Oracle preferred), transactional & fulfillment experience (parts, manufacturing, logistics)

Experience coordinating and establishing EHS guidelines to maintain safe work environment

Strong oral and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems, including leveraging data/analytics to set metrics and KPIs

Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects

Established project management skills

Strong critical thinking skills

Lean Experience, Kaizens, Workouts, Process mapping, improved

Understanding of Team value and has ability to successfully motivate and maintain employee involvement while driving change Proven organizational skills, with ability to manage competing priorities

Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to effectively

Communicate well with all levels of the organization

Analytical skill set and strategic mindset

Product export experience

Current or Past Certification in Hazardous Material Transportation

Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills

Proven strong work ethic, self-driven and result oriented to meet and exceed objectives

Ability to communicate effectively and work successfully in matrix and multi-cultural environment
