Compliance Regulatory Counsel
The candidate demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies and takes initiative and action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and ability to further build out a successful and effective compliance program for the the firm's Health enterprise. Creates broad federal and state occupational health regulatory surveys. Advises the company around its Occupation Health service offering. Creates new and innovative ways to communicate regulatory rules sales and staff across the organization. Investigates compliance regulatory and privacy related matters which includes conducting interviews with clinical and non-clinical staff to gather facts. Ensures timely reporting of occupational health or workers’ compensation privacy breaches to meet federal and state deadlines. Documents findings and makes recommendations for corrective action plans based on investigation findings. Maintains complete records of all investigations. Identifies compliance regulatory risk areas that should be addressed. Assists the compliance officer with the development of the annual Compliance Program audit plan. Implements and manages the Occupational Health compliance audit plan. Conducts compliance audits as outlined in the Compliance Program audit plan as well as ad hoc audits at the direction of the compliance officer. Partners effectively with organizational leaders to monitor compliance risk areas. Monitors the performance of the Compliance Program and related activities on a continuing basis, taking appropriate steps to improve its effectiveness. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. Occupational Health Regulatory experience background, strongly preferred.
