The candidate will structure, draft and negotiate a variety of documents, including master services agreements, vendor agreements, lease agreements and employment agreements. Provide business teams and senior management with prompt, pragmatic advice on complex legal issues and operational risks. Conduct legal research and follow regulatory developments. Manage pre-litigation and litigation disputes, including supervision of external counsel. Create and review internal policies and procedures, and other internal and external company communications. Support human resources and compliance departments with employment matters and internal investigations. Advise on contract status, legal risks, and the legal liabilities associated with different deals. Review advertising and marketing materials to ensure that they are in compliance with legal requirements. Provide training to the company on legal topics. Strong academic credentials including a J.D. degree. Should have 3+ years of legal experience as a transactional attorney, including some experience in a top law firm. Knowledge of corporate, contract and employment law. Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage deadlines in a fast-paced work environment. Excellent writing, oral communication and analytical skills. Sound about US legislation and Canadian legislation ( Employment and Corporate law). Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with business colleagues and sound judgment.
