Marketing Events Specialist
The candidate will manage the Marketing Events Assistant as well as various other marketing activities. Coordinate, manage, and execute all logistics for external marketing events. Direct communications with attorneys, occasional work outside of normal hours, and travel across the firm’s footprint. Draft the event brief, including expectations, budget, and scope. Coordinate event invitation and mailing list with attorneys and fellow marketing team members. Manage onsite logistics for in-person events and remote set up for virtual events. Draft post-event surveys and ensuring appropriate follow up. Oversee and monitor the budgets and expenses for all events. Maintain and distribute the marketing event calendar. Leverage data on attendees and report monthly on results. Manage the firm’s client entertainment opportunities, e.g. sporting event tickets. Plan client visits, dinners, and receptions. Oversee and manage the firm’s internal “event support network” and utilize as needed. Establish and enhance relationships with preferred vendors. Bachelor’s degree is required. Prior event management experience is required. Experience in a corporate or professional services environment is required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Zoom is required.
