Duties: Provide overall support at a high level to attorneys’ in family law matters. Conduct family law case file in-intake, analyze facts of the case, organize, calendar, and prepare files for attorneys’ review. Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents related to all family law matters. Scan, record and store client information (paperless office). Prepare Excel spreadsheets summarizing financial case data. Prepare files for Court for attorneys. Docketing. Streamline all processes and lead the attorneys. Keep attorneys on schedule with file deadlines, calendar, court dates, and mediation. Trial, Hearings and Mediation preparation in all respects, from file inception to conclusion. Drafting and finalizing disclosure statements. Drafting and completing all discovery. Answering phones and assisting clients. Filing court documents when needed.
